16th & PEARL STREET General Contractor: Taylor Kohrs This project was the demolition of existing commercial buildings and the construction of a new retail/office building anchored by Borders. The demolition phase of the project required salvaging 20' of a historic building storefront and demolishing in close proximity to structures that were to remain. The excavation phase of the project required 20' deep cuts with extensive shoring to maintain a safe jobsite. We also installed a perimeter and under drain system to manage the groundwater.
